This precious baby girls due date was actually tomorrow, but she couldn’t wait to meet her parents and was born a week ago today! I photographed her at 6 days old, and she was perfect for us. M & M, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your gorgeous baby girl, she is adorable and I can tell she is one very loved little girl. I hope you like your preview (which I have gone just a tiny bit overboard with because I couldn’t choose!) I’ll be in touch when the rest are ready.
At the risk of repeating myself (often), I just have to say how much I love my job. I truly feel blessed to be able to do what I love, and meet so many beautiful people at the same time. This week was no exception, I got to photograph baby A, at just 10 days old she was sooooo unbelievably placid and quiet! No doubt like so many Australians, I have been wondering what I can do to help, in any way, to ease the pain and suffering of so many Victorians following the horrific bushfires this past weekend. I can’t even imagine what they are going through, and have been through, or what lies ahead for them. I’m shocked that even tonight, more fires may have been deliberately lit.
I’ve been inspired by fellow photographer Kris Leigh in NSW, and have decided to donate the session fees from all bookings received from today until the 10th March, to the Red Cross Bushfire appeal.
If you are interested in booking a session with me, visit the Australian Red Cross website, donate your $90 session fee via the secure online donations form, send me an email along with an electronic copy of your receipt and we will organise a time and date for your session.

This weekend I met a lovely family down at Happy Valley for some family photos. It had been a little overcast most of the day but I hoped the rain would stay away for our shoot! We had to hide under the boardwalk for a few minutes, but then the weather was good to us and we were able to complete the shoot! This past week has been busy - and my kids are losing interest in my project 
Not many days to go though, hopefully they’ll put up with it for a bit longer I was unwell over the weekend, so there are a couple of rather uninspiring shots in there! If you’re waiting on prints, or galleries, I promise they’re not far away…
